About our Celeriac (Organic)

Creamy, crispy or sweet - however you cook the celeriac, it has its own unique taste. Don't be nervous, it's super simple, doesn't need peeling, and makes a healthy side or main dish! Tasting like a mild celery, yet sweet and nutty - it's also a great alternative to potato if lower carb is your thing.

Not sure how to eat it? Here's our top three ways...

  1. Chips - chop the rooty bottom off, wash the celeriac and cut into chips. Roast or air fry in your favourite oil (well seasoned) for 30 minutes or until it gets crispy.
  2. Mash - prepare as above, but chop into chunks. Boil for around 10 minutes or until soft, and mash as you would potato! We recommend using an electric processor if you want it SUPER smooth
  3. Whole roasted - Wrap the washed celeriac, and pat dry. Place on some foil, and massage in some olive oil. Season liberally with salt and pepper, add some garlic cloves and thyme, and wrap tightly in the foil. Roast in the oven for 2-3 hours depending on size, it should be nice and soft in the middle. A nice way to serve this is scooping out the top and mashing butter and the roasted garlic inside.
