Apples - Russet

Rarely sold in supermarkets, russets are known for their rough appearance and distinctive rough bronzed skin (not tough though!). Taste wise there's nothing like 'em, but Google says: caramel, nutty, smoky, and spiced-filled nuances with a lingering sweetness on the palate. We just love 'em exactly as they are.
